We are looking for a Technical Documentation & Release Notes Specialist who will ensure that our product knowledge remains structured, accessible, and aligned across teams.

In this role, you will own the creation, organization, and continuous improvement of our Integration Knowledge Base, Integration Catalog, and release communications. You will collaborate closely with engineering, QA, support, and implementation teams to transform complex technical information into clear, well-structured documentation and release notes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, ensuring content accuracy, and enabling teams and clients to work confidently with our technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration Knowledge Base & Catalog Management

  • Own and maintain the Integration Knowledge Base and Integration Catalog (single source of truth) for all paytech integrations (live, upcoming, deprecated).
  • Document lifecycle status, capabilities/limitations, prerequisites, configuration fields, environment notes, and troubleshooting guidance.

Documentation Standards & Templates

  • Create and maintain consistent documentation templates and publishing standards.
  • Ensure clarity in structure, tone, and use of screenshots/diagrams.

Collaboration & Validation

  • Work closely with Integrations Engineering, PMO, Support/Implementation, and QA teams.
  • Collect and validate documentation inputs to ensure content reflects actual system behavior.

Documentation Updates & Audits

  • Keep documentation up to date after releases and system changes.
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure accuracy and freshness.

Release Notes Management

  • Own the drafting and publishing process of release notes across development departments (Gateway, Finance Module, Integrations, Backoffice/UI, AI as applicable).
  • Collect change summaries using a standard template.
  • Draft clear internal and client-facing release notes, including impact and required actions.
  • Coordinate approvals with owning teams/leads prior to publishing.

Release Notes Archive & Discoverability

  • Maintain a searchable release notes archive.
  • Improve discoverability through consistent tagging, categorization, and naming conventions.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in technical/product documentation, knowledge base management, or release communications (fintech/SaaS is a plus).
  • Strong ability to understand and document API-based systems (REST/JSON), webhooks/callback concepts, and configuration parameters (no coding required).
  • Excellent written English; Russian is a strong plus. Able to write clear, step-by-step guides for client admins and technical teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple documentation streams and deadlines.
  • Experience with documentation tools (Confluence, Notion, GitBook, or similar) and coordination via trackers (Asana/Jira or similar).
  • Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.

Scope clarity:

  • This role does not create development tasks/specifications and does not manage delivery.
  • The role is responsible for documentation, catalog hygiene, and release communications (drafting, approvals coordination, and publishing).
