As a Business Analyst on the Product Team, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation of new product functionality. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the features are built around clear requirements, they are aligned with product strategy and meet the needs of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather, analyze, and document requirements for new features
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications
- Participate in discovery and scoping sessions with customers, contributing to feasibility assessments.
- Review change requests and prepare them for grooming sessions with the team
- Prepare product requirements documentation, flow diagrams, and interface definitions.
- Maintain the product requirements knowledge base
- Support Product Managers with planning and prioritization.
- Validate implemented features against requirements and facilitate user-acceptance testing.
- Track issues, risks, and dependencies throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis or product analysis roles, preferably in fintech/payments.
- Strong understanding of payments landscape, enterprise software development principles, system integration patterns.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in requirements management for complex enterprise software
- Ability to document and communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Asana, Confluence, Miro, Figma, draw.io, Postman, or similar.
- Fluent in English and Russian (written and spoken).
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in payments is a plus.
