As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Reconciliation Officer to take ownership of daily reconciliation processes across multiple payment platforms, providers, and internal systems. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across our payment flows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end reconciliation process across multiple payment platforms and systems
• Perform daily reconciliation of turnovers and balances, ensuring full accuracy and data integrity
• Proactively identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and drive resolution
• Work closely with payment providers to resolve operational and financial issues
• Prepare accurate and timely settlement and reconciliation reports (daily / weekly / monthly)
• Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Tech) to investigate and close reconciliation breaks
• Monitor payment flows across back-office systems and ensure consistency of data
• Detect system errors, inconsistencies, and process gaps — and take initiative to fix them
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and strengthening of internal controls
• Support ad hoc financial and operational tasks when needed
Requirements:
• Strong analytical mindset — you are comfortable working with large datasets and complex reconciliations
• High level of attention to detail and a natural ability to spot inconsistencies
• Solid understanding of payment flows and experience working with back-office systems
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems
• Proactive and ownership-driven — you don’t just find problems, you solve them
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical teams (IT / Tech)
• Fluent Russian
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher
Nice to have:
• Experience in fintech, payments, or high-volume transactional environments
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables; experience with large datasets is a plus)
• Experience in process optimization or automation
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
