We are looking for a Payment Networks Manager to own and develop our relationship with Visa and Mastercard, while ensuring our products, processes, and operations remain aligned with scheme requirements. In this role, you will act as the key point of contact for card schemes, drive scheme-related initiatives internally, monitor mandatory changes, and coordinate delivery across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the company’s relationship with Visa and Mastercard
- Coordinate communication with scheme representatives, certifications, approvals, and participation in scheme programs
- Own scheme-related initiatives as a Product Owner / Business Analyst
- Monitor scheme bulletins, mandates, and announcements, assess impact, and ensure timely implementation
- Support compliance by monitoring transaction flows, data integrity, and operational alignment with scheme rules
- Validate scheme billing, fees, and reports with finance and accounting teams
- Coordinate across engineering, integrations, finance, and compliance
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working directly with Visa and/or Mastercard
- Experience as a Scheme Manager, Payment Product Manager, or Business Analyst in card processing
- Strong understanding of card processing, including authorization, clearing, settlement, disputes, 3DS, and network tokenization
- Ability to interpret scheme requirements and translate them into internal scope
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in PCI DSS environments
- Exposure to acquiring and issuing platforms
- Background in fintech, ISVs, or payment gateways
- Familiarity with scheme certification processes
