We are looking for a Java & PL/SQL Engineer to join the Finance Module team. The finance module handles mission-critical functionality: transaction processing, settlement calculations, reconciliation, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and optimization of PL/SQL packages for payment processing and settlement
- Development of PL/SQL backend logic and building frontend interfaces in Oracle APEX Builder
- Participation in architectural decisions within the finance module
- Performance optimization of critical queries and procedures
- Database schema design and migration management
- Writing technical documentation
- Code review within the team
Requirements:
- 3+ years of PL/SQL development (Oracle or PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL)
- Experience with stored procedures, triggers, query optimization, indexes, execution plans, and bulk operations
- Experience handling large datasets (millions of records)
- 3+ years of Java development with Spring / Spring Boot, REST APIs, JDBC / JPA / Hibernate
- Solid understanding of relational databases, transactions, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and SDLC
- Russian - professional working proficiency
- English - B1+
Nice to Have:
- Experience in fintech / banking / payments industry
- Oracle APEX development experience
- Knowledge of financial calculations (settlement, reconciliation, FX)
- Unit testing for database code (utPLSQL)
- AWS / cloud database services (RDS)
- Jenkins
