Overview:
paytech is a dynamic fintech company dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in payments. We deliver cutting-edge white-label payment gateway, payment orchestration, and financial management technologies—customised to fit our partners’ business needs. As a payment gateway white-label provider, we support multiple branded partners who integrate their own downstream platforms into our infrastructure. As we scale, we’re looking to improve visibility into this integration layer.
We’re hiring an Integration Intelligence Specialist to dig into technical signals across our systems, webhooks, API traffic, logs, and metadata to identify, classify, and document the external platforms connected to our gateway. This role blends systems analysis, integration expertise, and a strong investigative mindset to help us truly understand how our platform is being used in the wild.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dig through webhooks, API traffic, logs, and metadata to identify integrated platforms
- Reverse-engineer integration patterns and recognize common frameworks and platforms
- Build and maintain a living map of who and what is integrated into our gateway
- Spot platform fingerprints (e-commerce, billing tools, marketplaces, custom builds, etc.)
- Work closely with engineering, product, and compliance to validate findings
- Suggest better tracking, tagging, and observability so we’re not blind again in the future
- Produce clear documentation and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and event-driven systems
- Experience analyzing request payloads, headers, logs, and traffic patterns
- Familiarity with payment gateways and fintech platforms
- Comfortable poking around systems and figuring things out without a playbook
- Familiarity with payments, fintech, or SaaS integrations
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of API traffic analysis and reverse engineering
- Hands-on experience with Grafana dashboards, queries, or alerting
- SQL or scripting experience (Python, JavaScript) for data analysis
- Background in integrations, solutions engineering, or technical support
