Quality Control Specialist | Merchant Services & Payments.

paytech is a next-generation payment technology company focused on delivering secure, scalable, and frictionless payment solutions for businesses worldwide. Our payment gateway powers thousands of merchants, and we are now expanding its capabilities with new, innovative functionality. 

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our Payments Department.
This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the high performance and reliability of payment methods, ensuring that every new provider, integration, and transaction flow meets our operational and technical standards before going live and after implementation. You will work closely with the Payments, Integration, and Analytics teams to test, evaluate, and continuously monitor payment methods across multiple GEOs and providers.

• Conduct end-to-end testing of payment methods (Cards, APMs, OB) prior to production launch.
• Monitor and verify transaction success rates, identifying drops or anomalies in AR% and conversion metrics.
• Evaluate and compare performance metrics of the same method across different providers or GEOs.
• Validate payment flows after new integrations or configuration changes.
• Collaborate with integration and payments teams to ensure all live methods meet expected business and technical KPIs.
• Report and document test results, providing improvement recommendations to PSP Managers and Analysts.
• Control method readiness for go-live and monitor performance during initial launch stages.
• Support post-launch verification, ensuring stability and consistent approval rates.
• Maintain clear internal documentation and continuously improve QA testing frameworks.

• 1–3 years of experience in QA, payments operations, or fintech-related role.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Understanding of payment flows (Cards, APMs, Open Banking, Crypto).
• Basic familiarity with PSP dashboards, back-office systems, or QA tools (Postman, JIRA, Asana).
• Intermediate level of Excel or data visualization tools (AR%, decline reason analysis).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• English Upper-Intermediate or higher, Russian language as advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of results.

• Experience working in a high-volume transactional environment (e-commerce, fintech).
• Familiarity with fraud-prevention systems or error-code mapping.
• SQL basics or experience working with analytics dashboards.
• Understanding of QA automation or sandbox testing frameworks.
