Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Java Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of backend applications using Java. This role requires basic knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, and a keen willingness to learn and grow. You will work closely with senior developers to design and implement new features, integrate third-party APIs, and contribute to system efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications using Java.
  • Work closely with senior developers to design and implement new features based on business needs.
  • Integrate third-party APIs to enhance application functionality.
  • Write clean, efficient code while adhering to company standards for code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality.
  • Collaborate in system design and architectural discussions.
  • Support the team in enhancing system efficiency and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Java (version 11 or higher) and Spring Boot gained through coursework, projects, or internships.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Oracle databases or other relational databases.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Internship experience in software development is a plus.
